HISTORY
Juan Carlos Ablanedo Iglesias could be considered the prototype of the One Club Man. He joined the Mareo Football School at the age of 10 and, after passing through all the lower categories of Sporting, he debuted with the first team on 2 January 1983.
In the 1984-85 season he was permanently incorporated into Sporting's first team, playing 33 games and conceding 22 goals, a figure that helped him win his first Zamora Trophy.
